Marie On Bullion Stitches

I'm attaching a pic that fits right into this "thread" of things!

I had done this sample some time ago...and some of you will have seen it before...as it was shared on another list...to illustrate the differences ( I'm relying on memory as to what they are/# of wraps....tried to find the original post...no luck!)

Notice that some are rayon...and some are silk...and that the finer the twist on the fiber...the finer the texture of the finished bullion.

From left to right:

EdMar Glory (Rayon)...11 wraps
YLI Silk #30...11 wraps
VClayton #12 Silk - 9 wraps
YLI 1000 Denier - 9 wraps
YLI Pearl Crown Rayon - 7 wraps

Again...the pic is larger than life....but in any case...it gives you a good idea of how different threads work up in the same application.
